Last fall we stayed at the "Albergo Del Senato". Literally right next to the Pantheon. We loved it! We are not much for being that close to the action, but it worked out well and is in a perfect location for walking to any other areas in Rome. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooftop bar/patio is gorgeous a night.
Checked all of our boxes. Nice clean rooms. Helpful and always friendly staff. Smallish size. Breakfast. Close to sites. In a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants.
