Wife and I will be in Barcelona for (3) nights in late September. Any recommendations for hotel ? Heard many good things about Gothic Qtr for hotels. Also restaurants.
Thank you.

Someone on this site highly recommended HCC Montblanc in the Gothic Quarter. Hotel Continental Barcelona also came highly recommended.
I am going to find my post with recommendations and paste it on your discussion.
Edited: Here is my post. It should be very helpful as far as hotels.

Thank you!!
I recommend considering the Eixample neighborhood. It’s beautiful and safe. We stayed at the Hotel Granvia. A very convenient location. We walked to so many places.
We just came back from a trip to Spain less than 2 weeks ago. In Barcelona, we stayed in the Hotel Well and Come in the Eixample Barrio. The location is excellent; within walking distance to La Pedrera, Casa Battlo and La Sagrada Familia.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. I highly recommend them.
I just got back from 2 weeks in Barcelona, and the best tapas I had there by far was at Ciutat Comtal, Rambla de Catalunya 18. Get the honey glazed cod. They don't take reservations. But it's a big place, much bigger than it looks from the outside, and if you show up at around 7:00, you can get a table.
For a place to stay, we stayed in the Eixample area and really loved it.
