Spending 2 1/2 days in Barcelona prior to cruise at the end of August. Please recommend hotels in a central location. Thanks
I recommend the Catalonia Hotels’ Plaza Catalunya, located adjacent to the same. https://www.cataloniahotels.com/en/hotel/catalonia-plaza-catalunya
We stayed at Praktik Rambla in September, 2019 and loved it: great location; gracious, helpful staff; lovely room. https://www.hotelpraktikrambla.com/en/
We REALLY enjoyed the Hotel Continental, right on the Ramblas. Get a room with a balcony over the Ramblas. Well worth it! https://www.hotelcontinental.com/hotel-continental-barcelona/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwwvilBhCFARIsADvYi7KvrfnQbaIVHjpvy9HOvHOONRd0vqHv43QDv_pDFjOflQrJH0FTbggaAoegEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
check out Hotel XYZ - it's got that primo central location you're after!
we stayed at the Ibis near Sagrada Familia. No matter where you stay, the cruise port is an easy cab ride
Hotel Granvia was terrific! Walking distance to many places and easy access to the subway. Highly recommend!
We stayed at Hotel Midmost when we first arrived in Spain. It's around the corner from Placa Catalyuna -- and most of the places you're likely to want to visit, including Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter.
OHLa Barcelona, Via Laietana, 49. Gothic Quarter. It the middle of everything, good buffet and nice terrace! Going back next year.
