Roman/Italian Jubilee?

Hello All!!

We're thinking of taking the Feb RS Tour (10 days in Venice, Florence, Rome), and I've recently heard about the year-long jubilee. Do you think this will make things a bit more crazy, tourism-wise, and do you think it would affect the RS Tours a bit? This would be our first RS Tour, and I'm just a little nervous about going to Italy when it'll be even more 'busy' than normal, possibly. I'm sure the good folks at RS will take care of all of us, but I'm just a bit worried about being able to see everything 'easily' being part of a tour, or if you think it'll be pretty busy all around. Thanks!!! Pam :)

Hi, the impact of the Jubilee Year has been discussed a bit on the forums. You can also search “Rome Jubilee 2025” and can filter the results by date. Here are few of the many discussion threads.

The benefit of being on a Rick Steves tour is that the guide will deal expertly with all the logistics.

I would imagine the tour guides will be a great help. Rome will certainly be busy during the Jubilee and there are certainly signs up everywhere about it. Have a wonderful trip!
