Questions about Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate International plan

I am looking upgrading our plans and last time I traveled I paid for the Verizon international plan, so I wondered if anyone is on Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate International plan and if it worked as if you paid for the international plan.

For me, it’s cheaper to keep my current Verizon plan and sign up for the monthly international plan when I travel.
