Need Help and Advice for Accommodations in Wengen/Murren/Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen

Hi,

We are a family of 3 (2 adults & an 11 year old kid) travelling to Switzerland in June.

I'm looking for accommodation on various platforms but seems difficult to get a place. They are either too expensive or far from the train stations and needs more travelling.

Our budget will be around the range of CHF200-300 nightly. Will be staying for 3 nights before we move on to Luzern. Other than staying in Wengen, Murren, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, are there any places that we could explore?

Welcome any suggestions. Thank you!

You might look at Wilderswil, a community about halfway between Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken. Quick train ride up the valley to connect to all the places you’ll want to visit. A cute little village with a fabulous Italian restaurant, Luna Piccante.

This was a discussion just this week. The above Search includes many options, but again, you're a bit late to be looking. I'd suggest grabbing whatever you can. Good luck, and enjoy this beautiful country. Safe travels!

Try a cabin at a campground. I think I linked one in one of the other threads. Campgrounds there have great amenities (e.g., restaurant, pool, fresh bread in the morning) and transportation links. Bonus for your kid: other kids.
