I will be heading to Scandinavia. On past tours, I've noticed women have not had hiking pants, but a nice pair of pants that are water- repellent and can help you acclimate to cool or hot temperatures. Can anyone recommend a woman's wide-leg pants that is light weight (under 8 ounces), water repellent and help with cold /hot situations, and can wash easily?

Looks like The North Face Aphrodite has a DWR finish and is longer length. I don’t care for the wider leg for my figure so I can’t comment on the fit but Toad and Company and The North Face are both popular brands.
Hello,
Take a look at Title Nine. I have a couple pairs from their Scout ripstop pants line that I rely on for travel.
