What time do I go online tonight to get coliseum underground tickets?

I am trying to buy 2 tickets for the underground of the coliseum in Rome for May 31. I live in the central time zone. I want to buy the tickets from the official site. I know that it’s hard to get underground tickets from the official site but does anyone have a time range that I should try? Thanks in advance for your help

What time does the office open? 8am (Rome time)? Then subtract - I believe you are 7 hours behind, so 1am. (Im on mountain and remember doing it at midnight, so Im guessing 8am is opening, but maybe 9a? ... meaning, I dont know what time it opens these days)

Went to bed at 12:30 last night-too early to get tickets- and woke up at 5:30 this morning-too late to get tickets- for the coliseum underground. I am in the central time zone. Lots of tickets for the arena floor so that is what I bought. Did not want to go in the heat of the day with an expensive tour. That appears to be the only option if you try to get the underground tickets on your own and fail. Thanks for your help

Scot, I think you'll be fine with just tickets for the arena floor (plus the other parts above the underground accessible without a tour). You'll be able to see down into the passages underneath from there and from some of those other accessible sections. :O)

Some of them that other RS posters have used are mentioned and linked in this thread:

https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/italy/colosseum-tour-421efeb8-f737-4254-a642-0eb6b8332088

As a caution, you might want to look at recent reviews for the City Wonders, "Colosseum Underground Tour with Roman Forum & Gladiator Arena tour" before choosing a company? I haven't checked the others linked in the thread provided above but I see a troubling amount of complaints about last-minute cancellations and some other issues for that one on TripAdvisor:

https://www.viator.com/tours/Rome/Ancient-Rome-and-Colosseum-Tour-Underground-Chambers-Arena-and-Upper-Tier/d511-3731COLOSSEUM_SMALL

It has been mentioned elsewhere that underground tickets are so difficult to get that even the tour companies haven't always been able to get hands on them! Just guessing that's a least part of the cancellation or inability to access the underground issues this company is experiencing. Oh, and please don't use 3rd-party Viator for booking your tours; go directly to the companies which actually provide them.
