We are a group of approx. 10 life long friends, who are all in our 60's, and this is the first time abroad for everyone but me. This is a trip of a lifetime for this group and I am trying to make plans for everyone. Our itinerary is flexible at this point but we are looking to spend 2 nights in wine country and would like to stay all together on a farm stay (agriturismo) where we can tour the vineyards and enjoy a beautiful dinner in the evening with the owners. Does this type of place exist and does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any input you can give me.
We stayed here (albeit 20 years ago) it was very charming and the food was unbelievable.
I would think there’s a website on farmstays. Good luck!
Thank you very much, you were the only one with advice. I will be looking into it right now.

We stayed at Agriturismo Castello di Spedaletto da Laura. They have a many rooms plus a few apartments. It was extremely charming and included perhaps the best breakfast of our trip. There is a castel on the property . It is near Bago Vignoli in Tusccany.

Tenuta la Santissima is part of an old hamlet and first descriptions of the inn date back to the 13th century.
The inn was a meeting place for pilgrims and it preserves his history of welcoming. Located a few minutes outside Siena, Tenuta la Santissima is a country house surrounded by nature.
Thank you everyone, I really appreciate the information. Looking into all those possibilities right now
I have stayed here a few times:

It's right down the road from a great terme (hot springs) that smells wonderfully sulfuric ;) but its free! You don't notice the smell after about 10 min, and it gets a little wild after dark!
I don't think that you eat dinner with the owners, but the place to eat is right down the hill overlooking the valley and its wonderful. I just saw that you can arrange for special meals as well!
