Rome Walking Tours

Looking for small group( 10-25 people) walking tour company, and recommendations for bus tour to explore some of Rome, especially Appian Way, Vatican City, Trastevere, but certainly flexible on sites. Did not care for the hop- on/ hop -off tour buses utilized in past trip. Thanks for any feedback, comments.

Imall, good suggestions for quality tour companies have been provided in your other post:

While a more intimate/pricey option than a group tour but you might also consider a golf-cart tour? Those can be a unique experience as they're small enough to go where larger vehicles can't. Don't assume they're only for folks with mobility challenges! Some past posts on the subject:

Look up EatingItaly (on GOOGLE, go to their website), we did a GREAT walking-food tour with them through Trastevere, they have several different tours of different neighborhoods. We did 2 of their tours. Learned a lot and had great food stops along the way.

Thumbs up for the Eating Italy Tours in Rome. We have done 2 of them, one being the day tour and the other the night tour of Trastevere, where we were actually staying. We have done this same company tours in Amsterdam also. While not a full Rome tour, it gives you a wonderful feel for food and neighbourhood. Excellent.
