DA BURDE is very well regarded for steak; take a taxi, it's not in the center.

Trattoria La Burrasca The Florentine steak served at this modest restaurant is terrific! I sensed several locals were also eating there.

Though we have been to florence, never had one there. But we had a great one in Bologna and another in Lucca if you are heading there.
