The last post requesting recommendations for restaurants in Dingle is dated 2024 - so I am starting a new thread. My husband and I will be in Dingle next month on a RSE Heart of Ireland tour, and we are on our own for dinner one night. Any suggestions?
There were 3 posts from last summer that recommended Out of the Blue. We were in Dingle 3 years ago and couldn’t get in but heard it’s very good as others have noted.
In July I ate a great lunch at the Fish Box, on Green Street across the street from An Diseart which is worth a visit for its stained glass windows.
Check out Dingle Crystal a few doors down. I bought several Christmas ornaments as gifts and for me.
I second the recommendation for The Fish Box.
I just got back from Ireland last week and highly recommend "Out of the Blue". The seafood is incredibly fresh and the service is excellent. Our tour guide for Ring of Kerry told us that we had to get the seafood chowder at the Benners Hotel in Dingle. I am still dreaming of it. Absolutely delicious with fresh herbs. Our other dishes at Benners were also great including the fish tacos.
If you want a fun pub for Irish music, Nelligans was great.
Last year we had some great dinners at Fenton's and Out of the Blue and Mrs. Benner's Hotel. I highly recommend all three restaurants.
We are doing Heart of Ireland in May and I have already reserved at Out of the Blue, based on numerous recommendations here and elsewhere.
I might also add, Murphy’s ice cream. They have some unusual flavors and are very Good.
