FYI, In case you haven't already seen this from BA:
"travelling with us between 14 March to 31 May -
You can cancel your booking and receive a voucher for the same value. Your voucher can be used as part payment towards a future booking to any destination. It must be redeemed for travel on flights taken within 12 months of your original date of departure."

oh wanderlust29, that is unfortunate. Did you at least read up on whether you can recoup the taxes/fees on your flight, which are a significant chunk. I don't know the steps, or even if it applies to your situation now, but there's a separate thread on that.
