With tensions ratcheting up between the current U.S. administration and Europe, I was wondering if anyone has experienced rude treatment.

I’ve been exchanging some logistical info over the phone and email regarding my upcoming trip and not hiding that fact that I’m coming from the US. Everyone has been lovely in the UK
Do you treat others rudely because of their nationality? Most people don't, no matter what the leaders of the other's country do or say. Rudeness comes from people who are unhappy with themselves who are looking to blame others for their dissatisfaction with life. I have gotten that sort of treatment occasionally, both in my US travels AND in my European travels. For 5 decades.
I'll have to wait and see until I land in early June. The main question is that were true about receiving rude and brusque treatment, would that deter you from still going? Or, at least , make you think twice ?
For me, not in the least, not interested . That sort of thing would pose no deterrent at all.
