Basically, If you have Google+ on your phone or tablet (a downloadable app) when you travel, it will automatically make a travel log of places and pictures. It gives a great presentation of your trip that you can adjust and add short descriptions. You just log onto Wifi or data so it knows where you are on a daily basis and take pictures which get backed up to Google so you can't lose them. And it's free.

I'd like to add that if you just got back from a trip it'll probably still work. Set up Google+ to back up your photos and if you used Google maps at all or had locations enabled (you may not even realize you did) it'll still create the story.
