Using my phone, how can I search any of the forums? I don’t see a search function. I was able to find a search link at the bottom but it gives an error that search criteria is empty. Thanks in advance.

Assuming that most mobile renderings of the website are similar, at the top of the page is a blue banner. Center is "Rick Steves Europe", on the right is "My Account", and on the left are five lines creating a square "button". That is the menu and when you open the menu there'll be a search box at the top of the menu column.

The Search function is of the whole Website, not just the Forum postings. Search results can include blogs by Rick and other contributors, plus Forum posts, many of which can be more than 10 years old. There’s a lot of content here, so you may have to sort thru lots of Search results.

Ok thanks. When I am already in the Travel Forum area, the box of horizontal lines at top left does not show the search field, but if I go to the overall site then it does show. Thanks to everyone who helped clear this up.

When in the forum, click on the five lines. It will seem as if the page moves to the right. On the new left hand side, at the top of the page, will be the search box. Just above where it says "About Rick."
I'm on my phone and it works for me.

You can also do it in Google, start with Rick Steves forum and then your search topic
