Hoping to take a tour in Albania and North Macedonia next year. Any recommendations for a tour company that runs guided tours there? Thanks
I know TexasTravelMom used someone she was happy with a while back. And I know that the travel company I use in neighboring Montenegro teams with or recommends someone in Albania, but cant recall the name. I had friends a few months back that worked with her on a trip to Montenegro and Albania. You could write and ask: Dijana Krkotic, Doclea Travel, +39 389 765 5935 (phone or WhatsApp), [email protected], www.docleatravel.com. I used a good company about 4 years ago, but they have since gone off the radar. Great place. I am jealous.
OAT has a tour that starts in Northern Greece and continues into Albania and N Macedonia. I took it earlier this year and loved it, including the pre trip extension to Athens and Crete.
Thanks for the responses. I will check out the recommendations.
I loved my trip to Albania, but I just did it on my own, with a couple of great day tours. Here’s my trip report if it’s helpful.

I plan to get back next year and include North Macedonia, which will be new for me. I will do that trip independently also.
Adventures with Sarah (Murdoch, former RS guide) has one:

Thanks TexasTravelMom for posting your trip report.
If you are an independent traveler those countries can be done on your own. Buses are the basic way to go town to town. We used Get Your Guide to hire a guide to walk us around town in the Albanian capital. We were the only people so the walk was very personal. They are very reasonably priced countries. The taxi drivers went out of their way helping us find and enter our apartments (which were found on Booking.com).
