Love this. I don't particularly want to travel around the world in 80 days, but I sure hope I'm traveling and laughing when I'm 81.

Some years ago, we were on a RS tour, and two of us had birthdays within a day of each other; I was turning 70, and our tour mate was turning 81. She was amazing; in the Cinque Terre she hiked as much of the trail as was available, and was definitely one of the 2 most active and agile people on the tour. (The other was a much younger man, like at least 40+ years younger!)

Our 81 year old friend was looking forward to other trips, especially to Africa. I asked her what her favorite place to visit was: "Mongolia; I can't wait to go back."

Role models here, for sure.
