My husband and I will be in England later this year and want to stay in Bath overnight (been there multiple times but never stayed overnight before). Any recommendations for a hotel/B&B/other that has on-site parking? Ideally we'd like to stay within walking distance of the city center, but if that's not realistic we are very open to staying outside the city if there's easy, quick taxi or uber service to the city center. Thanks!
Hi, we had a good experience with the Hampton Inn city centre in May 2025. I can't speak to their parking.
i have some notes in my trip report:

Thanks Rachel.
You might find this thread helpful, Rachel above posted to this as well.
We stayed at the Bath House B&B last June and loved it. Had a very delicious in-room breakfast every morning and walked everywhere. They went out of their way to make sure we had a very good cold breakfast on the days when we had to leave early to catch tours. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable, would definitely stay again.
Parking is quite difficult in central Bath. The few hotels that offer private parking are at the upper end.
I'd suggest Booking.com and filtering for parking.
Note that there seems to be an increasing trend for hotels to say they have parking, but when you drill down to the details it is "public parking is available nearby" - not the same thing.
Be aware that hotels in central Bath will charge extra for parking if they have any. It won’t be free as any parking space in Bath is a valuable asset. Further out it will be a bit different.
The Brooks Guesthouse is great.
I've stayed at the Premier Inn City Centre Bath and found it to be clean, very quiet, and a short walk to most things.
I've also stayed at the Brooks Guesthouse and the Abbey Hotel. I preferred the PI.
Just to add from above, the Bath House B&B does have free on-site parking. We didn’t need it but it’s listed and I believe it was right behind the building.
