Wrexham —> Manchester Airport: transportation help

Hello!

Let me preface this by saying I live in a small farming town in the US and I not familiar with using public transportation.

We’re trying to get from Wrexham (hoping to go to a game) and traveling the night of March 25th to Manchester Airport for an early morning flight on the 26th.

Is this the best option to get back to Manchester?

Hello again. We use the 24 hour clock in the UK, so 2004 is 8.04 pm and 22.15 is 10.15 pm.

It's the right route change at Chester and the right kind of price- in £ it is £9.10, which at today's exchange rate is $10.93.

The later train at 2103 (9.03 pm) which is 3x as expensive at £28.50 ($34.25, so £35 is also correct), so 2325 arrival at the airport is 11.25 pm

The 2103 is the last train. On a Monday to a Friday there would be a much later one. On the 2103 which is a change at Piccadilly it wouldn't matter if the train from Chester was late into Manchester Pic as there are 4 later local trains between Manchester Picc and Manchester Airport.
