Velocity Zipline in Wales

If anyone has done this zipline, can you share (1) what transportation did you use to get there (2) where did you stay in the vicinity (3) what else did you do while in the area, (4) what is the best time of day to do the zipline, and (5) is there any other useful information you can share?

Please note that 3 Ziplines exist in Snowdonia (NW Wales)> I will assume that you wish to go to the biggest one at the Penrhyn Quarry near Bethesda. You can do this by public transport but you should first get to Bangor. The usual bus service is the S6 run by Express Motors - which goes all the way via the Nant Francon Pass to Betws-Y-Coed. Another operator also has occasional service. Anyway, you will need to get off at Bodforis High Street, Braichmelyn = about 27 minute out from Bangor and then walk for about 11 minutes to the Zipworld. (Ask the driver to tip you off as to where you should get off). Here is a map of the area:> https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.1717022,-4.0622162,2768m/data=!3m1!1e3!5m1!1e1

For accommodation, it depends on where you are in the pecking order price wise and whether you have a car or rely only on public transport.
This whole area is packed with places to see and things to do. You may also be interested in this place:>

If you read this earlier post and click on the places I suggested, it will cover many of the places that you may like to visit in this part of Wales.
