Several years ago I went to Wales (train I believe to Caernaerfon, then bus to Snowdonia) and I recall having some difficulty traveling within Wales compared to England and Scotland. My BritRail pass didn't seem as friendly in Wales. I plan to go back in a couple of years and was wondering if someone who knows Wales well could offer some tips for getting around. (I don't want to rent a car if I can avoid it.) I'm thinking Hay-on-Wye, Aberystwyth, and Bedgellert/Llanberis as the most likely destinations. Thank you in advance.. Fritha D.
