You don’t say where you are coming from in the world. Manchester is the nearest airport to Wrexham or failing that, Birmingham.

From what I can gather, the quickest route is Heathrow to Tottenham Court Road on the Elizabeth Line, Tottenham Court Road to Euston on the Northern Line, Euston to Chester on the Avanti West and Chester to Wrexham General.

Others on the forum are better at explaining routes on the trains than me, but I thought I'd Google it out of curiosity. Hopefully that helps a little.

There are various ways to Wrexham- the one explained by Gerry is one. Another is from Euston to Wrexham to Birmingham New Street then train direct to Wrexham.

Another avoiding London is train or Rail-Air bus Heathrow to Reading, train Reading to Wolverhampton, change, train Wolverhampton to Wrexham.

Liverpool John Lennon airport is even closer than Manchester to Wrexham. Transatlantic on Aer Lingus you can easily fly into Liverpool connecting through Dublin.
