I'm aware of the train service from Chester to Conwy, but is there also a bus? I can't seem to locate a website that offers buses. Thanks Jim
If there is, have a look at National Express.
I'd take the train.
There are National Express stops in Chester and Llandudno Junction, which is just over the river from Conwy.
I have tried doing a search for the journey on their website and it’s not bringing anything up. It might be because it’s a seasonal route only running in the spring and summer?
Either way the train is definitely a better way to go.
Best way to go Chester to Conwy (Conway) is by train but don’t use Virgin as they won’t stop in Conwy. www.nationalrail.co.uk will tell you which trains stop at Conwy but you must inform the conductor so he can tell the driver to stop. On return - hold arm out.

(They are free on weekends). The T3 route is VERY scenic and starts at Wrexham - which is just a short train ride from Chester.
