South Wales flooding

I am to leave for Cardiff in two days with my transfer in Amsterdam.
I saw they had two major storms back to back resulting in wide spread flooding.
I also see Wales and Amsterdam now has their first cases of the Corrona Virus.
I am debating canceling my trip. I have never canceled a trip before.

Weather has not been good - wettest February on record. Bute Park - behind Cardiff Castle has been flooded but it is reasonably safe to assume that Cardiff itself is not going to be flooded - especially as it has a barrage protecting the city from storm surges. Going by local bus to visit St. Fagans Castle & Museum on the western edge of the city should pose no problem - though you may have to use the entrance in the village rather than the main one by the car park. (Check with bus driver on way out to be sure where to catch the bus back). The train line to Caerphilly (castle) has been flooded at times in a cutting but it is reasonably safe to assume that it will be open - if not, go by bus if intending to visit.

A person came from Italy to Swansea with Carrona virus and they have been put in isolation.

I live in a village outside Cardiff and we had thigh high flood waters on Saturday. By Sunday they had all gone. Please come!

Thank you everyone! Any issues with the Corrona virus in that area?
