I've asked this before but there seems to be a lot of Wales activity on the forum today so I'll ask again.
Anyone have favorite places to eat in Cardiff or Tenby?

In Tenby go to South Beach where you will find a modern building with this restaurant where I have always had good food:> https://saltysbeachbarandrestaurant.co.uk
In Cardiff, you will find numerous restaurants all over the city centre and elsewhere. Suggest you go somewhere handy to your hotel or where you happen to be having lunch.
If at Mermaid Quay (Cardiff Bay/Waterfront), Signor Valentino has wonderful views and excellent reviews - although I have not eaten at this establishment. https://www.signorvalentino-mermaidquay.com

Tenby -- I'm not much of a foodie and don't particularly like to eat out in the evening when traveling, so I frequently have a late lunch or early dinner or get takeaway to eat back in my room. These are two options that worked for me.

Cardiff -- I ate a large breakfast at my hotel and took food back to my room. That supplemented the snacks I stopped for when out and about.

The other place I had a real meal in Cardiff was a modern pub a couple of blocks from my hotel. Having had the typical pureed soups for most of my time in Ireland and Wales, I was thrilled to have soup here that actually had identifiable chunks of veggies in it.
