Ranger? Rover? All day pass? T11 and T5. On Saturday

Apologies for yet another question about bus tickets and passes, but the available options confuse me!

On Saturday I plan to ride the T5 bus from Aberystwyth to Fishguard.

After dropping my bag, I plan to take the T11 to St David’s and back for an afternoon exploring.

Is there a day ticket that will cover all of this, or do I purchase a single for the T5 and a return for the T11?

And I can I break the T5 journey along the way for a walk, picking up the next bus two hours later to continue?

Thanks!

Both buses T5 and T11 are operated by Richards Brothers. So buy a Richards Brothers Day Explorer Ticket for £6.70. Use as many of their services as you like that day and as many breaks of journey as you like.-

That is a huge bargain.

The other options are a West Wales Bus Day Rover for £9 (see further down on the same page, but the price has allegedly increased to £9), valid on any bus in West Wales, or a Traws Cymru Day Ticket valid on all Traws buses for £13.- https://traws.cymru/en/trawscymru-day-ticket

All three options are buy on the day from the driver. Traws Cymru Day was buy on the app but that seems to have been stopped.

Perfect! Thanks so much for this and all the other very helpful information you have given me. It is much appreciated.

I wonder how many times I will have to travel to the UK before I fully understand the networks of trains and buses and become self-sufficient?

Next challenge from 25 June onward for two weeks: trying to wander around the Yorkshire Dales and northern Pennines by public transport.

I have so much more to learn about Rangers, Rovers, and one day passes!.

The Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines will be it's own thread, and is different terrain again with the £2 single bus fares to anywhere on a direct bus in England.

But to get things started this is the Yorkshire Dales Bus Timetable Book- https://www.dalesbus.org/uploads/1/1/3/9/113919127/dalesbus.pdf

I'm not actually entirely sure as to what you term the North Pennines- time will tell on that score. But that is where life may get that bit more interesting!

Rover and Ranger Tickets come and go. A comprehensive guide this year would be out of date next year.

Yes — once I have the outlines of a plan and specific questions I will post a new thread on the England forum.

Thank you!
