North Wales Train and tour guide advice

I am coordinating a trip ( April 22 to 25) from London to Wales for 4 adults including 2 fit octogenarians. My current plan is that we will train from London to North Wales- ideally Conwy -- however based on what I read I think that train service may be cancelled after Rhyl on those days. Our train would arrive in Rhyl after the local rental car companies close for the day so I'm looking for suggestions for a private guide who could pick us up at the train and take us on a tour of Conwy and surrounding areas for about 4 hours before dropping us off at our hotel.

Our plan is to then pick up a rental car to get around to other sites before taking a train back to London on the 25th.

I'd welcome suggestions for a private guide or even a taxi company.

Thanks-

You are right that trains are being terminated at Rhyl, but there will be replacement buses provided all stations to Holyhead. It is merely that those timings are not yet in the system.
I would get that bus to Llandudno Junction, a mile from Conwy, where there is a taxi rank straight outside the station.
Re your other question on Ludlow there is an hourly or so train from Conwy all day (some through, most change at Shrewsbury) on 24- takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Take one of those. Stay overnight in Ludlow.
Catch the 1012 on the 25th to London Paddington, change Newport arrives 1341 or the 1143 a 1444
Get two together Railcards on line at £30 each, to cover the 4 of you. On the Tuesday you'll be travelling after 9.30 am. Those save 34% off fares, looking at the fares for the 3 legs they will more than pay for themselves.
