I'm a solo and don't want to drive. I'd like to find a tour company that offers groups that I could join. Also want to see more than just one or two places. Not that particular. Wales is lovely and I spent a short time in Tenby many years ago!
Welcome to the forum! For 2025 and 2026 this company has small group tours to Wales.

Haven't used them myself, but a prior poster suggested them.
Hope this helps.
I’ve recommended Mark Seymour’s tours. Ive done 2 and have a 3rd coming up in October. He has a tour of North Wales and also has a tour in 2026 of the Marcher Castles on the Wales/England border. I’ve got my dibs in on that one, lol. He does not charge a single supplement. I’m a solo traveler and have had a fabulous time on both the tours Ive done (Northern England and Orkney/Shetland).
I’ve also done a tour of Wales thru Road Scholar. Here is what I posted on a recent forum thread.
I have done that Road Scholar Wales tour and it was excellent. The Instructor was Conway Davies who is still running it and he is fabulous. The itinerary is essentially the same as when I did it although the hotel in the south is different - we stayed in Carmarthen and it now stays someplace different. The Mixed Voice Choir performance at Laugharne was amazing. I don't know if he does this every time but as we were walking back from Dylan Thomas' Boating/Writing Shed (where his wife used to lock him in so he would work), Conway was reciting "Poem on His Birthday". I've always had difficulty reading Thomas' writing but hearing Conway recite it as we walked along the estuary of the River Taf was very evocative. Plus he just recited the line that said "and a Curlew cried" and danged if we didn't immediately hear a curlew, lol! Great timing! Conway is bi-lingual. Spoke Welsh at home growing up.
Here is a link to the program being discussed.

Road Scholar does charge a single supplement and I recommend doing that. All my trips with Road Scholar have been solo. Their groups are bigger than Mark’s, in the 24-26 people range. This tour starts in Manchester and has the last night at Heathrow.
I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about either tour company.
