we will be spending several days at ffaldy brenin, and it's pretty much in a non populated area - any suggestions for lodging in that area. danke, niklaus

I had to Google Ffalybrenin as I have never heard of it. More clues would have been useful! It is in Carmarthenshire, between Lampeter and Llandovery, which I have heard of. I doubt that anyone on this forum has been to Ffalybrenin.
Are you going to have a car? That may influence where you stay.
Looking at Google Maps, a few cottage rentals and B&Bs are shown in the area. Have you tried Booking.com or VRBO/Trip Advisor Rentals?

Is it Ffald y Brenin Trust? If so, how about staying with them? If they can't put you up, perhaps they could suggest somewhere to try? Otherwise you are probably looking at either Newport or Fishguard.
