Just thought I would mention that the final episode of Gavin & Stacey with James Corden & Co is currently being filmed at Barry Island. Marco’s Cafe has a mural on the wall of the cast with a blank space for you to place yourself for a photo. Barry Island is a 30 minute train ride from Cardiff Central.

I know that James Corden is famous in the USA but am not sure how many people are aware of this show - which is very popular in the UK and has had several series. I know that comedy does not always travel well as people just don’t get things.

It streams on BritBox in the US. I know there are quite a few of the regulars here who enjoy (and definitely "get") British humor.
