For people going to Conwy by train, who are often advised on this forum to train to Llandudno Junction then taxi or bus to Conwy (in preference to using the village station) note this road closure.
It means that taxis will be taking a long way round and also that almost all local bus services will not call at Llandudno Junction station. Instead a free bus service will be provided between 7.30am and 6.30pm.
You can of course use the train to Conwy- a station which locals fought hard to reopen in 1987 after being closed for 21 years.
