Uh, oh. I knew about TS on June 18 but not Foo Fighters on June 25.
I have booked the IHG Hotel Indigo for June 21, 22, 23 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and I am now wondering if I should delay my days in Cardiff. Not sure how crazy it will be between the concerts (note that hotel prices on the day after TS are nuts, too, so I assume many people are staying over.)
Another option is to keep Thurs and Friday, and then find somewhere quiet (and still bookable on Saturday June 23) between Cardiff and my next stop, Oxford. Traveling by rail, I’ve been to Cardiff a couple of times before so this pass through was really just to check a couple more items such as St Illtyd’s Church, Caerphilly Castle and a Welsh Food Tour off my list.
Thoughts? Even without the concerts I am starting to prefer the idea of somewhere quiet for Saturday night ….
