Bus from Conwy/Llandudo to Liverpool Airport

Has anyone ever taken the bus from the Conwy/Llandudo are to Liverpool? It looks to be much quicker and cheaper than the train but I'm wondering if it's as dependable. Appreciate your thoughts.

Have you thought about a airport transfer company? We are going from Llandudno to Manchester Airport in September for 130 lbs sterling maybe a little less to Liverpool. I feel much better getting to the airport this way and will pay more for less stress.

The coach is run by National Express and starts from Llandudno (hasn't come from elsewhere) so yes it's dependable. At £3 or £4 for an advance fare I think it's a great choice if the one a day, at 0925, suits your timings.
That drops you at Liverpool One (opposite the Albert Dock).
From the same bus station you need to catch the Airport Shuttle service 500- https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/find-a-service/500-liverpool-john-lennon-airport-to-liverpool.
Although it is not on even their own journey planners Transport for Wales run a secret train from Chester to Liverpool South Parkway, which is far closer to the airport, avoiding using merseyrail or changes at Warrington or Crewe. That is probably a bit faster overall, but still a lot more expensive.
Given that I can't find the timetable for that train, so can't route you that way, yes take the coach.

Anyone wishing to get to Llandudno or Conwy from wherever will find a bigger choice of trains by using Llandudno Junction as their station (only a mile or 2 from Conwy/Llandudno) and then a bus/taxi. But, also put in for Conwy or Llandudno and check for direct trains.

From the summer timetable change on on May 21st, an hourly TfW service should run between Chester and Liverpool Parkway - which has buses for the short link into Liverpool Airport. A one way ticket is about £24.

The fare on the through trains is far less than the any route fare.
I've been trying this morning to go back to what I saw only last week about that, and currently can't track it down.
The talk is of the hourly Chester to Liverpool South service being delayed until December this year due to a lack of trains. It is currently two hourly.
The rumour is that the direct service will become a Llandudno to Liverpool Lime Street via South Parkway which will be very useful if and when it happens.
The problem is that the route specific fare for the direct Chester to Liverpool South Parkway trains is not on the computerised systems (like the timetables aren't), or even in ticket machines. You have to ask for it a ticket office.
