HI we want to stay two nights and three days in Conway and wondering what locatoin/neighborhood would be the to stay. We will have a car. Do we stay on the outskirts? or right in the middle of Convway.
This is part of a three week UK vacation beginning end of May . Thanks!

If you decide on the middle of Conwy, make sure you choose somewhere that has car parking....

Conwy, at least the area by the castle and waterfront, isn’t all that large and is pretty compact.

We stayed at the Conwy Castle Hotel for two nights. The deluxe room is very spacious with better decor than I have at home. The view of our room was High Street, chosen because I enjoy a front street view unless it’s a busy city. We slept very well.
They have parking at their hotel. It’s a tight entry/exit if you bring a large car.

Parking could be an issue in Conwy itself. Consider Quay Hotel & Spa at Deganwy. Also consider somewhere in the Conwy Valley to the south which has attached parking. (You could go on Google Maps where you will see hotels marked and just click on them to get an idea of the prices).
Be sure to visit Bodnant Gardens whilst in that area during May.

Parking is definitely the issue in Conwy, and not many places to stay have parking so you will end up paying. Definitely consider the Conwy Valley to the south - only 10-15 mins to the town, quieter, beautiful scenery. Trefriw or Betws-y-Coed are both great and have accommodation, pubs for dining etc.
