Are you going to Istanbul? Are you going on the Best of Istanbul or Best of Turkey tours? Have you been to Turkey and would like to share your experiences with others? Please join us for our online travel group meeting on September 14.

I'll be talking about my current trip to Istanbul... I'm there now! And we'll have at least 2 or 3 other people who've been there. Several of us have been on the Best of Turkey tour and can answer questions.

In our online travel talk meeting on Sept 14th, we'll swap stories about Turkey and Istanbul.

Based on my visit last week to Istanbul, I can give some general updates and answer questions for anyone who is heading there, including:

Increasing simplicity of public transit in Istanbul
Cash vs card
No Visa, but plenty of other costs (still cheap)
Istanbul sightseeing ideas for return visitors or longer stays
