Headed to Kadikoy for 3 weeks in December/January. We're independent travelers (40's, active, adventurous), but have found it super worthwhile to have a few tours that help us get our footing and learn about the culture of the place we're temporarily calling home. Looking for...
-a reputable and worthwhile guide (or company) to see some of the must do sites - local vibe highly valued! Do NOT want to follow someone holding a neon flag on a giant pole. Private or group.
-suggestion for a NYE activity or reputable company for something like a cruise (if that's the way to go). We like fireworks and i know not to go to Taksim square as per many other forums.
-BONUS: Planning to take a sidetrip to Cappadocia so hot air balloon recommendation? I hear this is a must-do. Even though it'll be December.
