Just and FYI - I just called the Grasshoppers hotel in Glasgow to check on availability for next May (2025) and was told the hotel is now closed.

Any idea if it is closed ( temporarily) for renovations or ( permanently) because of financial setback?

In all fairness, mikliz97, the hotel JUST closed on Sept. 1, so I doubt that RS would have known (see more details in Sam's link above). But good point about checking for accuracy.

We were in Glasgow a few weeks ago and stayed at Motel One very close to Glasgow Central train station. Very inexpensive and a great modern hotel.
