I just priced a trip with Skylux travel. Business class Paris and Athens. The prices are the best I’ve seen. Does anyone have any experiences using Skylux?
Did those fares look like they were too good to be true? There's a reason for that.
Just one of many so-called "business class discount bucket shops" which are selling fraudulent tickets.
There is no such thing as a third-party "business class discounter." Airlines do not make business class tickets available to re-sellers.
What this is, is a "business" (I use that term liberally) that is either buying frequent flyer miles from individuals or brokers (which is a violation of every frequent flyer program), or they're stolen from hacked accounts, then those miles are used fraudulently to book tickets; those tickets are then unknowingly sold to unwary travelers looking for a bargain.
The airlines regard this practice as fraud, they take it seriously, and are not shy about bringing down the hammer; unfortunately, the only party they can hammer will be you. If the airline finds out your ticket was booked with a strangers' frequent flyer miles, they are likely to invalidate/cancel your ticket, deny you boarding, and leave you at the gate with no ticket, no sympathy from the airline, and no recourse. Not a great way to start a trip.

10 complaints per month. As recently as Dec 2022, this has been part of their prepackaged response:
With this being said, we would like to apologize for the delay in responding. The virus outbreak has affected the workflow in most industries and that resulted in a volume of cancellation and exchange requests that we did not anticipate.
Any entity using covid as reason at this point for not making a timely response, is suspect in my view.
This is also a common part of a response:
The complaint has been forwarded to the original travel agent.
The agent will contact the customer to explain the available options within 5 business days.
I sense that once one does get skylux to respond, the issue gets farmed out to someone else ( "the original travel agent")
How much do you like peeling onions to find the right person to talk to?
Would you expect a dealer to sell you an Escalade for the price of a Corolla?
CAVEAT EMPTOR
Wow, read those BBB complaints, they are priceless. Their phone sales agents push for buying special travel insurance from them and demand customers also add a large "tip." Oh yeah, that sounds completely legit.
The amount of very obviously fake positive reviews of this company is laughable.
The amount of complaints puts the nail in the coffin. Have a problem with your tickets/flight? Crickets on the other end of the phone. All-in-all, a load of red flags. Seriously, what legitimate 'agent' has to be paid a gratuity or tells a client to get a fake doctor's note?
Book directly with the airline.
