Dear hearts and gentle people, it's time too face up to the reality that airliners are; 1) EXPENSIVE to buy, 2) EXPENSIVE to maintain, 3) EXPENSIVE to operate. Super cheap airlines exist by cutting corners all over the place and eventually the shoestring will break, hopefully without killing anybody. Look at the nice little mess Ryanair got into last year with over-scheduling too few pilots. There will be more collapses coming and I don't feel sorry for the people who get burned for ignoring basic economics. In business, rule number one is: "There is no free lunch," rule number two is, "If in doubt, see rule number one".
