Park and fly Seattle

I'm comparing park and fly from Seattle for Nov/Dec.. We would be leaving the car for 18 or 19 nights, and could stay over the night we returned if we used a hotel/park.

I've tried a few searches here on the forum but seem to only find very old posts.

Has anyone recently used a park and fly or a stay/park/fly location in Seattle? While the cheapest rate would probably be the most appealing, we're interested in good/bad experiences. It's also possible we'll end up flying or taking a coach from our area (about 4 hours from SeaTac).

Look at this website:

Also, look on Groupon for coupons or deals. Almost always several for parking at SeaTac.

Thank you! I knew I'd seen something on here in the last year! The variety of terms I used did not turn up that post.

Not clear to me if you need a hotel or not.

If no hotel is needed, I would suggest https://parknjetseatac.com/

Have used them many times and found them to be the best combo of price and convenience.

Thanks, Joe.

We arrive from London about 5 PM, so we have time to drive home that night, but probably not a good idea to go further than North Bend, at the most, so we wouldn't need to cross the pass when so tired. We could also stay with our daughter in Seattle (Eastlake) but if it's more economical to just stay where we leave the car, we'll do that.

We used Doug Fox Airport Parking after a recommendation from a friend. We really liked the lot and would use them again.

Have you checked on the flight option? I am flying out of SeaTac next month and had planned to take the train and light rail, but then I checked and was able to get a flight for 4.5k Alaska miles and like $6. It's a separate ticket and has a long layover, but my son lives in Seattle, and I'll take him out to dinner during that time. I'm a little closer than you are, but these short flights have gotten "cheaper" in terms of miles since Alaska overhauled its mileage program.

I really appreciate all the insight into the park, stay, fly. My husband is now leaning towards flying just to not deal with the worry of driving the pass, although it should be decent, particularly going over. (We are on the east side of the Cascade Mtns.)

G3rryCee, Yes, we have been looking into the flying option. Wow, you got a great deal! It's that cheap on the Wed before we need to go :(. Since we are needing to go over the Friday before Thanksgiving week, the prices are up somewhat for both the mileage and cash options (half the price on return) We may just bite the bullet and fly to save the hassle----will be more costly because we will then get a hotel near the airport for the return night. We return just before 7 PM so would miss that flight to our hometown. We would have to wait until 11:22 for the last flight over; I think I'll want to be sleeping then.

My husband wants to take the cheaper, earlier flight going in case something happens with flights and we need to drive. I don't fancy a full day at the airport (flight is 8:05 PM). We may compromise and pay the extra $60 for a little later. Our kids will be busy working, so we probably won't venture away from the airport.
