Huge news! The Edinburgh Tram system extension opened on 7 June 2023. You can now ride the Tram from the airport all the way to Leith and Ocean Terminal (for Royal Yacht Britannia). And of course the same stops in between including Edinburgh Castle, etc. along Princes Street. We'll be testing it out next month!

I just rode the tram to Ocean Terminal today to visit the Britannia. It couldn’t be easier—stops right in front the building! I also rode it from the airport. You can buy tickets at the machines at the station. Super easy.
