Hi Windyram

Did you receive a phishing email like this or did you hear about it from others?

That email is a lot of pressure.

I imagine some guests have fallen for it.

I blame Norwegian Cruise Lines. Inadequate electronic security.

This happened to us 4 years ago before a NCL Alaska cruise. They had all the info for the cruise but said on a phone call that we owed an additional $400. We cruise a lot and knew that additional money was not ever requested after the final payment. I told them no money was due and hung up. I took 2 fake calls before we called our travel agent. He verified that it was a scam. Amazing how the emails showed and looked so real. The NCL web site has a scam warning on its site today. Sad to say how cautious we have had to be since travel plans have been made online.
