Does anyone have any experience with the S-Biner Microlocks? They appear to be another level of deterrent for pickpockets. Best use may be to secure zippers on purse or day bag. But they also might be an extra level of frustration for the traveler. Any info would be helpful.
I have some. As long as you know how to unlock them, they are no trouble. Whether they are necessary or not is up to you. A bit small if you have clumsy fingers. I prefer using big hardware store safety pins for closing luggage.
PS I used them to secure small items (mini flashlight, earplugs, gloves, etc.), to my day bag, not so much for zipper security.
I love them! My husband has a day use backpack with a half dozen zipped compartments and uses these to secure them from casual thieves. We use both the micro and the slightly larger ones. It provides another step to zip open a section and hopefully it deters theft, but it also prevents accidental unzipping. We use the black ones as they aren't as visable.
We use them as well. They have larger ones if the microlocks are too small.
