We received a traffic (parking) citation in Lucca in 2017. I contested one of the citations and wired money to the municipality paying the second. I never received a response or confirmation of either contesting the one parking citation or receipt of payment. This weekend, four and a half years later, I received two letters, one related to each citation, from Cedars Business Services saying they will start collections on this unpaid debt. A quick online search uncovered a long list of BBB complaints from people having the same experience. This is both a warning to avoid this company and this scam, and request for others to share if they've had similar experiences with this company.
