Has anyone used the Wise card for spending? You preload money onto it in your home currency and then spend in the currency you are travelling in. I'm going to Scotland and heard that it might be a good option for spending there. I also have two separate Visa's with different banks but want to make sure I have back-up options, just in case.

I used a Wise card on my recent trip to Italy. It worked great for me. I had also loaded it with Euros over a month or so I could lock in a rate. Be aware of the free withdrawal limit at the ATM. I downloaded the app. I also liked the instant notification when it was used.

Thanks Frank. I tried to search for something but with a common word like Wise, the search tool is terrible on here.
