Saw the notice on Hulu today that Rick Steves' Europe will be going off of in 10 days.
I noticed that Amazon Prime has some seasons available to watch with a Prime account, but will the rest move their for the time being?

You can watch it on this website......look under "Watch, Read, Listen."
have you looked at Youtube.
Loads of RS videos there.
And there is always PBS broadcast TV. My local station shows anywhere from 4 to 10 episodes a day (some repeated). Of course you have to watch what they broadcast, you can't pick the episode you want. But it is free!

You betcha! Doesn't get any easier than this!

My gosh. Had no idea there were that many options. Certainly easy enough watching here!
Thanks everyone!
Another place to watch free Rick Steve shows is YouTube. They show complete shows and they show segments of shows, so you have plenty to choose what you want to see.
I fell down the YouTube rabbit hole weeks, months ago and feel like I’ve watched all of RS videos there. I like the short clips and if I find something I want to see more of, I come here and watch the whole episode.
Not being American or having TV RS YouTube is the first place I go for reviewing places of interest.

You bet, erikwt78! Make some popcorn and settle in to enjoy the show(s)!!! 😁
Hi, "erikwt78".
You've received lots of good suggestions here, but I'd like to add:
• The PBS app. On smart phones, smart TVs and streaming boxes like AppleTV, the app lets you watch a selection of Rick's shows for free. More shows are unlocked if you contribute to your local PBS affiliate ($60/year to KQED here in the San Francisco Bay Area, though I have no idea whether the threshold is the same nationally), create an account on the PBS Web site, and then authorize your cell phone, smart TV or streaming box.
• Black Friday sale. Historically, Rick has offered a substantial discount on his DVD and Blu-ray boxed sets from mid-November through Christmas. The sale price is a steal! I end up repurchasing every few years to get the latest episodes and specials, and I pass the old box to a friend. You can also opt to keep your collection up-to-date by buying a smaller set for each new TV season. Given the pandemic, who knows what will happen this year, but I'm hoping Rick repeats his sale, to indulge our travel dreams.
Content licensing is expensive for HULU or any video streaming services.
Licensing agreements are negotiated based on viewers' interest of the program being offered.
When the licensing agreement ends, both parties can negotiate a renewal, or HULU could drop the show from its library if viewer interest doesn't warrant the cost.
RSE (who owns the content) like many others are experiencing downturn in revenues because of this pandemic. If this debacle continues into next year and beyond, we'll be seeing more slow-down and reduced interest among streaming providers to air those shows that would not generate revenue from advertisers . . . the bread-and-butter food pantry for companies like HULU.
Members of this forum should have little concern regarding this forum being thrown into oblivion without HULU or NETFLIX.
Anyone can continue the domain name registration. . .it only cost less than $5.00 to renew the registration from ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers).
So, then, camaraderie will continue with braggadocio thrown-- in between.
CHEERS.
So I donated to my local PBS, which shows a good amount of shows but I've noticed many shows are not available (all of season 1, parts of season 2, etc...). It's the same a few places elsewhere -HULU was like this as well-. Were there certain licenses not approved for these episodes or is it incentive to get the DVD set ?(which would make sense, I'm planning on getting the set anyway)
