I am landing in Germany but then continuing to travel to Czech Rep. and Austria. Will the SIM card I buy in Germany continue to work for me throughout the trip?

I think it will depend on the kind of plan you purchase. As long as it is stated
to be good for the countries you plan to visit, all should be well.

If you buy it in Germany it should. EU has roam like at home regulations. Free roaming within the EU. Just confirm at the shop when you buy it.
