I can suggest you "NordVPN" that is a good one.

I've used Hotspot Shield for years. I pay for the pro version.

A good VPN is a must when on Wi-Fi no matter where you are.

Thanks for that… any more suggestions as to which VPN for Europe/Asia (travelling to Turkey and will be working remotely)

I live in Asia and travel regularly to Europe, and I use NordVPN (which has also been suggested above). I have no idea if it's the best, but I can say I have no problem connecting, and it doesn't seem to impact connection speed. I normally use it if I'm connecting to work systems using public WiFi.

Question: can anyone recommend a VPN that will allow me to watch Spectrum TV through the app when I'm in Europe?

I'm using ExpressVPN, It's good so far.

We have used NordVPN when abroad, and here in the U.S., too. You can choose where the signal comes from, so if you are in Turkey, you could likely choose something from Germany, etc. when we were in Germany, I think we chose something from Switzerland. They have "ports" all over the world, IIRC but I could be wrong about that. Shouldn't matter which country you are in. Their website might have more information.

One item of interest re vpn…I have just started using express vpn as a warm up to some future travel. I have found that in some cases it actually interferes with access, spots where I used to get easy access (ie McDonald’s) were proving hard to get the signal. Turned out it was the vpn connection, so if you are ever having any issues always check your vpn, reconnect or switch it to another locale….my two bits.

The Spectrum app doesn't permit usage when a VPN is activated. It doesn't matter which VPN provider you use, it can't be used outside of the US.
