Using Rick's guidebooks on an iPad

I've been using Rick's books on the the iPad Kindle app. Obviously saves weight and one can zoom in on maps. BUT, I find I'm constantly going to Table of Contents to navigate within a book. For example: I'm following the Bruges city tour and want to check "eating in Bruges." The only way I can get there is to go to the Table of Contents, then find and select the "eating in Bruges" section. Same with going back to look at a map. Everything really. Going through page by page is slow and tedious.

Am I missing something? Isn't there a better way---perhaps using Page Location? Any advice is much appreciated! Robert

On the iphone version you can bookmark a page. Later, you can view a list of pages you have bookmarked and select the one you want. I'm sure the ipad version has the same feature.

I have Italy 2017 and used it on IPad recently. I used the index when I wanted something. It is listed under Table of Contents.

Duh! I didn't see that. Thanks. If anyone else has other tips for navigating around the the Kindle version, please advise.
